The AdderLink X-Series (Std.)

The X-KVM enables Keyboard, Video and mouse signals to be extended across CAT 5 / 5e / 6 cable.Automatic bandwidth adjustment instantly provides a crystal clear image. If colour separation introduced by CAT 6 cable occurs, the X-KVM will report this to the user and if necessary this can be cured with the X-Series Skew Compensation Unit.

The AdderLink X-GOLD

The AdderLink X-GOLD delivers PS/2 style keyboard, and mouse, High quality SVGA monitor signal, plus RS232 and digital audio across twisted pair network cable. The X-GOLD is FLASH upgradeable and enables the easy, reliable remoting of computers. The RS-232 port is fully bi-directional and operates at 57,600 baud. This makes it ideal for Touch Screen applications. The stereo speaker and microphone signals are digital and so deliver excellent sound quality with minimum noise.

No software is required and distances of up to 200 Mtrs across Cat 5/5e & CAT 6 cable can be reached. Utilising reliable interface power operation at the transmission end, the X-GOLD delivers very high video quality with a maximum resolution of 1600 X 1280. It can be used in a stand alone environment or rack-mounted in a 2U enclosure. From trading floors to recording studios, Radio stations to Data centers, The X-series delivers the image, the control and the total solution.

Skew...
When transmitting video across CAT5e and CAT6 cable, sometimes the colours making up the image can become separated. Adders Skew compensation module uniquely enables the user to adjust the Red, Green and Blue Channels and compensate for cable length differences. Using simple dipswitches, users can configure the unit using the information provided from the reporting function on the X-Series KVM modules, or manually configure the unit using Red, Green, Blue and distance dipswitches.
