Q101: Can I use my AT style keyboard
with Adders products?
A: Yes, using standard AT-PS2 adapters.
Q102: Can I use my Serial mouse ?
A: Yes. The Adder range support the use of serial mice using
D9-6 Mini Din Adapters. With the larger ranges of switches these
come as standard
Q103: Is the AV range passive
as they don't have power-supplies?
A: No. The AV range of switches draw the required power from
the ports on the PCs they are connected to hence limitations compared
to the SV range.
Q104: Can Adder switches be cascaded?
A: All Adder switches can be cascaded. However, should you wish
to cascade the AV range it is imperative that the optional power supplies
are used.
Q105: Can I mount the switches in a rack?
A: All switches except the AV-2, AV-4, SV-2 and SV-4 can be located
in a rack using an optional rack mount kit. The SV-Pro series come
supplied with a rack mount kit as standard.
Q106: Are cables included?
A: Cables are not included with any of the Adder switches. We can
supply cable kits for almost any combination of PC's and ports.
Q107: Can two people use the
SV-Pro's simultaneously?
A: No. The two input ports on the SV-Pro series is to allow
an administrator access from independent locations (server room & office?)
Q108: What's the difference between the Adderlink
Gold and standard versions?
A: The Adderlink Gold has the capacity to carry an Audio signal as
well as the KVM signals.

Q201: Can I use my AT style keyboard
with Belkin products?
A: Yes, using standard AT-PS2 adapters.
Q202: Can I use my Serial mouse ?
A: Belkin support serial mice in their OmniView range which
have separate ports to allow the attachment of a mixture of mice.
The OmniCube range do not officially support serial mice.
Q203: Can Belkin Switches be cascaded?
A: The Belkin OmniView range (and above) can all be cascaded using
dedicated cables and ports ensuring you do not lose any inputs. The OmniView
SE range is limited to a maximum of 4 units. The Matrix and Pro series
can cascade to a maximum of 128 channels.
Q204: Can I mount Belkin switches
in my rack?
A: Only the Omnicube cannot be directly mounted in a rack.

A: No

A: Yes, two different users can administer two separate servers from
different locations at the same time.

Q301: Can I use my AT style
keyboard on the Switchcom products?
A: Yes. The switches come with an AT-PS2 adapter to attach an
AT keyboard to the switch. If any of your servers use AT style ports,
further adapters are available.
Q302: Can I use my serial mouse?
A: No.
Q303: Can Switchcom switches be
cascaded?
A: The Proserver, Precision and Teamserver switches are all cascadable
up to a total of 64 channels.
Q304: Can I mount the switches
in a rack?
A: All switches except the Duette and Quartette can be rack mounted.

A: All Switchcom products come with 2 Metre cables as standard
Q306: What do you mean when you
say the Proserver is modular?
A: The Proserver can be upgraded using plug-in channel cards, allowing
you to start with an 8-way server switch and adding channels as and when
you require.
Q307: Is the Teamserver a true
multi-user switch?
A: Yes. The Teamserver allows two people simultaneous access to
the servers. By adding a Teamserver+ up to 4 users can access 64 servers.
