What is ADDERLink XDIP
XDIP is a KVM (Keyboard Video & Mouse) Node on an ip network. It can be configured as a Transmitter (attached to a computer) or a Receiver (to which a Keyboard Monitor & Mouse is attached). It can be used to Extend a Keyboard, Monitor & Mouse across an IP Network (LAN) or create a KVM Matrix allowing a number of users to control a number of computers on the same network.
What are the limitations of ADDERLink® XDIP?
XDIP can not support video resolutions over 1920x1200@60Hz.The USB is HID only (Keyboard, Mouse, Joysticks etc.) and its firmware limits it scope to 16 sources and 256 receivers on the same subnet.
What is the difference between XDIP and XDIP-POE?
Absolutely nothing. Both can be used POE with the necessary POE Network Switch, the only difference is that XDIP is shipped with a PSU. They both leave the production line as XDIP-POE and at the point of sale an XDIP will have added to it an IEC Power supply, power cord and a XDIP label over the XDIP-POE part code.
